HOW DO I CHANGE FROM A
FIT GIRL TO A FIT MOM

Part 2

After the birth of her son Fos, top model Stef enlisted the help of a sports physiotherapist. She wanted to get in shape as quickly as possible but in a responsible way. Since then, she has been training mainly her rectus abdominis so that she doesn't unnecessarily lose her waist. Additionally, Stef trains her core in a hot pilates cabin. By lifting Fos, she often experiences back pain, making it very important for her abdominal and back muscles to become as strong as possible.

Recently, Stef started squatting. ‘I would like to get a bit more shape in my butt. Sometimes I do this after my run with the Bugaboo runner in the park.’

Instructions for performing the squat correctly

1. Stand hip-width apart with your feet slightly turned outwards

2. Lower yourself as if you want to sit on a chair that is just a bit too far back.

3. Extend your arms forward as a counterbalance

4. Make an extremely hollow back while performing the exercise

5. Lower yourself to knee height

6. Come back up until you are fully upright again

Stef definitely can't do without the Bugaboo Runner.

‘What I really like is that the shock absorbers in the wheels protect my son from the bumps in the park. During my warm-up, squat session, or cool down, I like to use the foot brake. But the hand brake on the push bar also brakes very smoothly. Especially when Fos is sleeping nicely, this is very nice.

Because when I'm done with my workout, I like to walk to the store for my groceries. With a sleeping child, it goes just a bit easier. And there's plenty of room to fit a basket full of groceries.’.
