Kate, Leo, WHAT do you have to hide?
Since the Oscars were awarded last Sunday, there are a few things everyone is talking about, and at the top are Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Leo, of course, because the best man finally got to take a statue home, Kate because she appeared in a garbage bag on the red carpet, but also because she stood in front of the cameras with that bag AND with Leo.
The internet went crazy over this Titanic reconciliation, and people kept chirping and screaming about LeoKate this and LeoKate that. And rightly so, don’t get me wrong, but I have a conspiracy in mind and I’m going to share it with you now.
There have actually been two small incidents that strangely no one is talking about, but which mask the biggest cover-up in the history of Hollywood romances. You must have seen the video of Leo standing there waiting for the Oscar with his name being engraved, looking extremely awkward yet charming. If not, you can see it below. And pay close attention to what he says to the people around him.
He is of course at his most charming when he makes a joke about the fact that he is there for the first time, but much more interesting is what he says at minute 0:48. Listen again...
DID YOU HEAR THAT? I think he clearly says to the guy next to him: “My wife is here.” And then he looks a bit embarrassed and caught. Really, I’m telling you; he is secretly married to Kate Winslet.
And not just married. No, Kate is pregnant. With Leo, of course. There was a moment at the Oscars when she was talking to Cate Blanchett and Brie Larson. They talk and talk, Cate then makes all these hysterically happy faces, touches Kate's belly and gets even happier, and then they all hug each other. Kate's publicists try to smooth it over by releasing messages that Cate just wanted to feel “the special fabric of Kate's dress.” Really, my foot.
Kate and Leo are married and they are having a baby. The fact that Kate is just married to Ned Rocknroll doesn’t matter to me. Kate and Leo. Káte and Léo. If that were to happen, the world would be done, finished, and complete. She did never let go.
