KIKI HAS SUCCEEDED: NO MORE STRESS ABOUT BEYONCÉ TICKETS
Yep, it was to be expected: all tickets for Beyoncé's concert were sold out within 20 minutes. The queues at Ticketmaster, the frustration, the fake ticket sales on Marktplaats, thank god I’m escaping the circus this time.
As you may know, I have only one idol in life. And that is Queen B. Three years ago, I seriously received P tickets for her concert as a birthday gift from my friend and mother, because I once again failed to get them and started showing depressive symptoms.
But this year everything is different… A few days ago, I was messaged by an old colleague. “Look, I read that you wanted tickets, you know there’s a pre-sale today, right?” WHAT? WHAT?? I flew out of bed in a daze. Why do I always hear this kind of life-saving information at the last minute? As if there’s a special Beyoncé society, a secret sect that decides to spare me from such announcements.
Oh god, what are good seats? I know: I don’t want to stand at Beyoncé.
Anyway, I jump behind my computer, which freezes in no time. iPhone on hand, iPad on hand; everything that can surf the web. Then it somehow goes a bit well and I end up in a complicated schedule. Oh god, what are good seats? I know: I don’t want to stand at Beyoncé. That seems a bit too panicky at such a crowded concert. And panic attacks lurk for me in stressful situations.
I see one section after another selling out and know that I really need to make a choice quickly. My eye falls on four nice seats and I click on checkout. AND IT WORKS. It’s a bit of a hit to my wallet, but these tickets are totally worth it. Can someone pinch me? My week can’t get any better. A mini-mini-little comfort for all the people who haven’t succeeded (yet), I’ve been on your side too. Don’t give up hope yet, there seems to be a second concert coming. Here you can sign up. Good luck!
Update: okay Amayzine ladies, now let’s get in formation. I just heard that Joss and Lil also managed to score tickets. HOORAY. I foresee a cool group moment.
