WAAH: BEYONCÉ IS COMING BACK TO THE NETHERLANDS
(and this is how you get a ticket)
Holy moly, mother of god. On Monday, February 15, I set my alarm for 6:00 AM. At 3 AM if necessary. Beyoncé is coming back to the Netherlands and I absolutely have to get a ticket again.
Yes, you read that right: Queen B she will perform on July 16 at the Amsterdam Arena as part of her new world tour. She dropped that bomb last night, just like that, during her Super Bowl performance (by the way, very clever when 170 countries are watching, Bey, you know how to pick your PR stunts well).
The new world tour, called The Formation Tour, refers to her latest single Formation. That was also launched as a surprise on Saturday. The world was turned upside down again (okay, at least mine was). What a ridiculously good song...
So I absolutely cannot stay calm after receiving this news. Bey may not know it, but we have a special bond. Even if it's just because I experienced the biggest trauma ever when I was supposed to interview her and then didn't. (just read back here)). Okay, and because I also missed out on Adele. So I looked up for you (and myself) how to best score those tickets, so we can sing our hearts out together during Formation on July 16. Justin Bieber Step 1:.
The more devices competing in the battle for Queen B tickets, the better your chances. Don't just grab your phone, but also your computer, tablet, laptop, everything you have at home. Also, open multiple browsers. Who knows, Google Chrome might be faster than Firefox or Safari.
Step 2:.
Whatever you do, if you press the F5 key (refresh), you'll get a nasty STD. Just remember that. So don't press it, or you'll end up at the back of the line again.
Step 3:.
At exactly 10:00 AM, when ticket sales start, have all your screens open (no, not exaggerating; as I just said, already at 6:00 AM...). Sitting on the site before 10:00 AM is pointless. You may be on the site, but you're not in the queue for the tickets.
Step 4:.
Prepare everything to be able to pay immediately. Preferably multiple methods. Credit cards, Visa card, Mastercard, your random reader, your phone with tan codes: the whole shebang.
Step 5:.
Convince half your family/friend group to also hunt for those tickets for you. And once it's your turn: buy the maximum number of tickets, so all your friends can come along.
