This is how much Kendall and Gigi get for one photo on Instagram

You don't have to be a genius to know that top models nowadays earn a nice little sum with their Instagram account. But that it was so much, man oh man, that really shocks me a bit. Are you ready for it?

The three biggest Instagram fashion titans Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, and Gigi Hadid earn tons with their accounts. Yes, really. Frank Spadafora, CEO of D’Marie Archive (that's an app that checks the ‘social power’ of models) tells CR Fashion Book that the biggest it-girls can ask an average of between 110,000 and 237,000 euros for one photo. Wow.

Just to get back down to earth: for an average of this, the majority of the Dutch work about 6.5 years. SIX AND A HALF. And the bizarre thing is: those same models don't earn nearly as much with their daily shoots and campaigns (but still a whole lot, mind you), which makes Instagram basically their biggest client. Don't underestimate the power of social people.

And even the ‘B-models’ who don't have a following of 20 million+ like Karlie Kloss (4.7 m), Behati Prinsloo (3.8 m), and Miranda Kerr (9.1 m) can, according to Spadafora, rake in between 21,000 and 44,000 euros with just a snapshot.

What a misery. I'm going to lie under a blanket with two brownies to work on my model figure and won't come out for the rest of the day. Grr.
