My life in a bag

Normally, I run all over the country to pull girls by their sleeves for the most beautiful bag, but yesterday we switched things up. I walked into the editorial office with a brand new Chloé and Josselin shouted and May-Britt texted that I was the newest My Life in a Bag candidate. So here I am, head over heels in love with Chloé, about which I will of course tell you everything. Are you reading along?, ‘I have three designer bags that I am incredibly happy with.’
How many bags do you have?
‘It was love at first sight. Well, first sight... I have seen and admired the Mini Drew from Chloé at least three hundred times before, and eventually, I bought it this weekend at the Bijenkorf.’
What is the story behind this bag?
‘I think I handle my bags pretty well. Usually, they are next to me on a chair or on my desk. Usually, that is, because sometimes I catch myself with a twisted bag strap around my office chair or a flapping piece between the car door. I do check right after if everything is okay, because then I feel a bit guilty ;-).‘
How do you handle your bag?
‘What’s nice about this mini is that you can’t carry too much nonsense in it. I’m actually quite good at that. From dog treats to accessories that start to annoy me halfway through the day; I can carry them around for weeks without any clue.’
What about the content?
‘Not very surprising, but of course my iPhone, my wallet, and keys. Because without these essentials, unfortunately, you don’t get very far. At least, I certainly don’t. Furthermore, I usually always have a nice scent and lip balm with me. And change; for some reason, I find it incredibly difficult to put my wallet back in my bag…’
What do you always have with you?
‘Definitely a long strap so you can wear your bag crossbody. And compartments to organize things a bit. And I think with a good bag, you can style your outfit amazingly in no time.’
What do you think are the best features of a bag?
‘The Monogramme Sac Université shoulder bag from Saint Laurent.’
