ORANGE ABOVE
Orange beauty inspiration straight from the catwalk
On the street, we see people on worn-out sneakers (heels are not very flea market-proof), and further some pale orange clothing that has been pulled out from the back of the closet. Yes people, with King's Day one celebrates the fashion feeling with pride. To compensate a bit, I do expect you to spice up your beauty gear a little. So no red-white-blue flags on the cheeks. Horrible. Please do it a little differently this year. The catwalk of this spring shows that orange is super trendy and can therefore also be worn after King's Day. The royal look can be embraced this year.
Orange on the eyes
It's always a bit of a vague area; orange on the eyes. If it has too much red in it, you can also look a bit sickly, but if it's too soft, then it's more pink. With the latter, you're obviously good. So it's better to stick to coral colors. Blumarine, Altuzarra, and Blugirl at least showed that you can totally immerse the eyes.
Bronzing queen
A bit royal goes for gold. And let bronzers always have a hint of orange in it. Ideal. This way you apply some color to your face (a great alternative to the flags), but still stay within the chic genre.
Maak het af
The easiest and most accessible option. But still always better to go for orange on the nails than nail art something you'll regret the next morning. Here too, it applies: with coral orange, you're definitely good. A big bonus: your hands will look super tanned.
Orange under
I personally find it quite exciting, you know: orange under the eyes. Here it applies; the softer the color, the crazier it looks. Because then it's quite dubious whether you've applied something under the eyes. In this case, it's really better to go for a slightly brighter color. Then you get the Dior look, just the other way around. And a bit of craziness is allowed.
The colored lip
Also quite obvious, but still the colored lip does well. It can totally complete an outfit. Prada and Kenzo gave the lip an extra royal touch, because they just made it gold. So this time don't choose red or orange, but do something with a little glitter.
Royal cut
It's of course enormous hat spotting time on King's Day, so why would you hold back? At D&G, all models wore the most amazing accessories on their heads. Little oranges, for example. You can bring it to real life now. Orange is okay.
Let's wrap it up with a look for the daredevils among us. You not only color your eye, but also take your eyebrow and forehead along. This is makeup. But then in the 3.0 way and in the 2016 version according to Max Mara.
