RAW & MESSY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

So much hair on my head, and I never know what to do with it. Yes, I know: there are harder things in life, but my long blonde locks have become my trademark and such a trademark must always look good, of course. Ideally, I would have someone to style my hair nicely every morning, but I wasn't born as a member of the Kardashian family, so I'm left to my own devices. But luckily, there was Berni Ottjes to give me some tips & tricks for the holidays.

You should know, I've always been a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl. Raw and edgy, that's what I love. So even during the holidays, I prefer to wear a suit rather than a gala dress, with the accompanying tough hairstyle. So here it is: raw and messy à la Berni Ottjes, with of course the help of the Dyson Supersonic™, because guys, that Supersonic™, I don't want to be without it anymore. The Hèrmes of hair dryers, remember?

Want to try it at home? Here's how you do it:

– Prep the hair with a strengthening product.

– Blow-dry the hair straight for a polished look.

– Then, using a fine brush and the Dyson Supersonic™, create a bend in the middle of the hair. You do this by wrapping each section around the brush twice and then directing the blow dryer onto it for the bend. It is very important that your hair remains smooth from the root to about halfway down, just as the ends should also remain smooth.

– Then create a messy raw look on top of the hair with a power dust.
