It has been a while since Real Estate Rasker has been heard from. But don't worry, I haven't been idle lately. The housing market is on fire, you should know, so I've been incredibly busy with viewings, appraisals, building technical reports and that sort of thing. But I have a few gems of houses in my portfolio again, so let me introduce you to the most beautiful (and okay, the most expensive) that is currently on the market. Money has to roll after all, and bricks are always a good investment.

Amsterdam, Nieuwe Spiegelstraat
This street is a personal favorite, so in terms of location, you can't do better. The little building is on the market for just over 3 million, but then you really get something. 362 square meters, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and all that spread over 2 floors. It used to be a bank building, so there is plenty of space and the entrance is phenomenal.

Amsterdam, Lauriergracht
This might be the most beautiful property currently on the market. In the heart of Amsterdam is this perfectly finished palace, where you can just move in. White, tranquility, space, authentic details, that pretty much sums it up. And for a very reasonable 4 million euros, it can be yours. Seems like a lot, but then you have 406 square meters right in the Jordaan with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and 3 living levels. This is a unique property, I would make an offer quickly.

Laren, Steenbergen
This is currently the most expensive property you can find on Funda, so you know you're in good hands. Swimming pool, tennis court; this has everything you need as a human being in life. With a living area of 762 square meters, you can be sure you won't run into anyone in your own house, and that's nice. Or hide in one of the 24 rooms, of which 6 are bedrooms and 8 are bathrooms, spread over 8 (!) living levels. This is living as it was meant to be, and all for a very reasonable €8,750,000.

But maybe you're in the mood for something with more history. Well, look no further, I have the perfect property for you. For less than 6 million, you can buy this beautiful castle, yes really, a real castle. Castle Schaloem dates back to 1200 and was rebuilt around 1656. The former gatehouse is now a hospitality space with a restaurant hall for 60 people, which is nice for friend gatherings. There are also 16 holiday apartments, ideal for visiting friends, I think. A beautiful house, we can agree on that. Located in the chic Hillegersberg, you can be sure that others also know you come from good houses, and that is of course extremely important. For €4,350,000, you get 600 square meters, 8 rooms, 2 bathrooms, and a 75-meter deep garden. This is living in ultimate luxury.
