STILL LOOKING FOR A NEW PAD?
Then check out this disgustingly perfect house of Gwyneth Paltrow
I could really spend hours doing this: gaping in awe at the absurd, crazy, envy-inducing digs of celebs. Want to take a look today at Gwyneth Paltrow?
Normally, celebs aren't so eager to show their homes from the inside. Can't blame them, everyone has the right to privacy, stars especially since their privacy is taken away about eight times a day. Therefore, there are actually only three reasons for a celeb to show their home. A: you are the ex-partner of a superstar and you could really use the money from the photos. B: Anna Wintour rings the doorbell and proposes a super cool interview + shoot in your own home (let's be honest: then you do set your principles aside for a moment) and C: your house is for sale. In Gwyneth's case, that was the latter.
”Your famous neighbors are countless, you have marble walls up to the sky and everywhere good light for Instagram”
What that little joke costs (look away quickly if you can't handle this...)?
12 million. TWELVE MILLION. She says it without blinking. But what you get for that 12 millie is no small change. You live right in the middle of New York City, your famous neighbors are countless, you have marble walls up to the sky and everywhere good light for Instagram. Also not entirely unimportant. The actress bought the penthouse together with ex-hubby Chris Martin in 2007 for a pittance. Oh, what is little. Let's say a rough 5 million dollars. But the fact that the housing market is picking up again AND you can say that Gwyn lived in your house is worth those extra 7 million, right? Absolutely.
So: do you love New York, an antique chic atmosphere, light, more marble than 72 bloggers use on their websites combined and do you want to wake up in the atmosphere of ‘a lush cloud’ (as she describes on her lifestyle website Goop)? Then don't hesitate to respond. A lush cloud. Haha. Hahaha. Gwen, I'll keep it short: I expected no less from you. And okay, I confess: I am incredibly jealous of course.
