Buying a good jacket is almost as difficult as buying a good pair of jeans. You probably have a thousand jackets that are all fine, but the truly perfect jacket is still not among them. As in: one that is warm enough for the harsh Dutch winters, looks good enough, has enough pockets, and that you can also wear in the summer if possible.

Well, look no further, the thing exists and carries the fitting name Smart Parka. Or rather exists, it is a Kickstarter project. Well, one that raised more than three million (!) dollars in the blink of an eye, so the people behind it have far exceeded their intended budget.

What makes this jacket so smart is that it is a kind of James Bond gadget among jackets. A pocket for your iPad, a pocket for built-in gloves, a place for a included beanie, an extra zip-in lining, an extra piece of length (yes really) and it also looks absolutely great. I want it.
