THESE 6 FILMS WILL GET YOU INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT
Or you never dare to go out again, that's also possible
Actually, I have no idea why I decided to write this, because when it comes to horror films, so I am the one who hides behind a cushion on the sofa by default. Or snuggles up against someone, not wrong either. Maybe the ideal tactic to have a little more physical contact with that cute boy during a date. Anyways, so Halloween is in a couple of days, and I may not be very horror-movie-proof, but the night of the dead is really one of my favourite holidays. No Halloween party scheduled (sááái - this is where you want to be), then just a night of screaming on the sofa. And the films you are then obliged by me to watch are the following classics:
The Shining
‘Here's Johnny!’ What did I learn from The Shining (especially a tip for all hotel lobbies)? Never go to work for a hotel in winter where there are no guests. That's because you'll go crazy. By the way, A+ for Danny's jumper collection.
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Were you having such trouble sleeping already? Oi, then you might start hating me after this (sorry). But it's a classic and, after all, it's almost Halloween and Freddy Krueger is just part of that. Full stop.
It
Weren't you scared of clowns yet? Now you are. And you will also spend the rest of your life avoiding every gutter you come across.
Poltergeist
Whether you watch the 1982 or 2015 version, Poltergeist is creepy AF. Someone ín your TV. WTF. Get rid of that thing. Out the door. Bye. But only get rid of it after you've watched this list of films, okay? Oh yeah, and never open the door to scary old men. Just so you know.
The Exorcist
Perhaps the scariest horror film ever made. Whether you watch the 1973 version or the 2016 one; think demons, think a vibrating bed (and not the good kind), heads spinning full 360 degrees, gibberish that can't be understood... Good luck already.
Child's Play
The original Chucky. Dolls coming to life; I can't handle it. But then just think of all the hugs you get from that boy next to you on the sofa, because after all, that's what you do it for.
