The latest trend in beautyland that ignites wanderlust

There is a new trend happening in the ever-moving world of beauty. Flown in from fashion, where of course the most fabulous things exist. Jeremy Scott kicked off with a collection inspired by four different cities. Now, city inspiration isn't such a new thing, but when it involves four cities together, it seems to become a colorful collection. I was certainly waiting for such a launch in beauty. Wanderlust and beauty seem to be the best of both worlds.

Well, let the city trips come, because that development is also very much underway. I’ll start with Bobbi Brown. The brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary. And that had to be approached in a special way. Bobbi Brown has a huge crush on different cities and is more than happy to draw inspiration from them, which is why the limited City Collection has been developed. London, Paris, and New York each received their own makeup wardrobe. Of course, the cult classics like the Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, blush, and eyeshadow palettes are included, but all in their own unique packaging. That packaging is illustrated by Richard Haines.

Victoria Beckham added another little city. The favorite city Los Angeles also got its own look. She has truly designed a jewel of a collection (together with Estée Lauder), with which that lovely skin of Victoria is within reach. The sultry, sexy skin, the striking eyes, the subtle lips. She describes the look as seductively cool with a rough and daring edge. Meant to color outside the lines with confidence. A comprehensive collection with highlighters, bronzers, plenty of beautiful options for the eyes (that eyeshadow palette is so beautiful and delicious it’s almost edible) and lipsticks that keep it all a bit calmer or that make a statement. And all of that in those beautiful leather cases and packaging and, as we are used to from Victoria, with a golden edge.

With all those products, you can create the looks of the city. London feels like the heart and soul of Victoria. A place where anything can happen and anything is allowed. It breathes coolness. New York impresses Victoria with its fast pace and the energy on the streets. It is inspiring in every way. Los Angeles is a bit more nude. That’s because the fantastic light, the atmosphere, and the energy of LA leave a sensual glow. It’s enchantingly beautiful. That leaves Paris. The city of elegance. That a good eyeliner and a catchy red lip belong to it, translates what Paris breathes.

Okay, enough. You can just grab it all in our country. But be warned: you will want to have the entire collection immediately, it’s all so beautiful. And you’re probably already googling for tickets, because city trips are lurking.
