By now you know that Sisley's products are slightly addictive. Short recap: the scent Eau Tropicale (my favorite) suggests that you are in a tropical paradise and the other scents exude nothing but richness, the insane foundations do give you the benefits (a glowy flawless skin and spots that are concealed), but not the downsides (an Oompa Loompa color and a thick layer) and then we also have that sun care still. So the recap can't actually be short, because there is just too much nice and beautiful.

So why are we so diligently applying and putting on makeup with that fine brand? Firstly, because the products are based on plant extracts, which have a beautiful and powerful effect on the skin. This all comes together wonderfully because SISLEY has built an encyclopedia of knowledge and therefore the skin can be addressed very effectively in a natural way. Those walking encyclopedias are scientists from Sisley who research plant extracts and their active ingredients. A careful selection is made from that and combined so uniquely that it becomes a wonder product that your skin craves. I'm not just talking about the care, but also about the makeup. Quality is so highly valued at Sisley that the makeup is almost equivalent to the skincare products. The result? A glowing skin, velvety soft and optimal protection (the filters are incredibly high, making it all work very well against aging, and is also caring) so that no sunbeam can do bad work.

The French beauty house was founded by Mr. Hubert d’Ornano in 1976. His wife Isabelle d’Ornano worked hard on developing the products and creating an image. And then you have the children Philippe and Christine, who have also been involved for quite some years to keep Sisley's developments at the highest level. The company has grown from one store in Paris to an international brand sold in as many as 80 different countries. And yet Sisley has remained true to the original idea from 1976: placing great value on the quality and authenticity of the products.

But I want to talk about Christine, Global Vice President of Sisley. A woman you want to be. A woman with a busy job, three daughters, and an amazing appearance. Sometimes I wonder how she does it, how, because where does she find the time? The answer is actually quite simple. Christine grew up in Paris in an apartment overlooking the Seine. And she went to an international school. Very worldly and raised freely. The beauty ritual has been instilled from a young age, because yes, if you live in Paris, you deal with a beauty ritual that only the Parisiennes know so well.. Well, and if you have the botanical laboratories of Sisley as a playground, then it can only be that you are blessed with an amazing skin.

Her favorite products? Christine lives quite naturally. But to achieve a glowing, good skin, you have to cleanse it well and she spends enough time on that. The Eau Efficace for example, a nice light cleanser that leaves no trace of makeup. Furthermore, she is addicted to the Sisleÿa skincare products. During the day she doesn't wear much makeup. A dab of foundation and some concealer under the eyes is enough for her. In the evening she does use a bit more from her makeup bag, with the Phyto-Eye Twist as a base item and the Phyto-Mascara ultra stretch that accentuates the eyes even more. Oh, and a bright red or fuchsia color on the lips from Phyto-Lip Shine. She finishes her look with Eau du Soir. Without hesitation her favorite scent.

So now you understand it. You can work very hard, lead a fun life, and still have an amazing skin. And then you also understand why we diligently apply with a photo of Christine stuck on our mirrors. She is simply the worthy example of the fact that anything is possible. So we just keep applying diligently.
