HOW TO GET RID OF A CROWDED HEAD
Irritable, tired, cranky, stressed: that's what you get when your head is full. With work stuff or to-do lists with all those silly little tasks you just can't get to. Then you also make way too many appointments (so a packed schedule) and you don't really get to rest and have time for yourself. Your head is FULL. Recognizable? I think so, because planning everything is easier for “us” than thinking about yourself and taking time to do absolutely nothing.
I'll tell you how to get rid of such a crowded head. And then try to keep it tidy for as long as possible, okay?
Is something bothering you? That can really weigh on your mind. Speak it out, and you'll be rid of it immediately.
Write everything down. Don't use your head as a to-do list. And grab a marker. Nothing is more satisfying than crossing things off.
Put at the top of the list what has priority and divide the other tasks over days. Don't make the list too long, because that's not achievable and your head will just explode even more “because you can't get to it”. So divide those tasks.
Turn off your phone for a few hours. YOU MISS NOTHING. #notetomyself (muahaha)
Do things together. Many hands make light work.
Exercise. Yes, this you expected from me, but believe me: it's really the medicine to get some order in your head.
