THIS IS HOW YOU BECOME A BETTER MORNING PERSON
Grumbling, grumpy, rushed, can't find anything, there's mess everywhere, showered too long, lost keys, can't be social, arriving late, wet hair on the bike... All things that can happen in my mornings if I don't get up on time. I hate rushing and I hate starting the morning like that. You can do something about it. This is how you become a better “morning person”.
- Don't immediately reach for your iPhone when you wake up. That way, you end up lying in bed for an extra fifteen minutes and already get stressed from all the emails and texts you still have to read. Relaxxxx. Do that later at work.
- Try to stretch a bit when you get out of bed. It wakes you up and makes you feel less stiff afterwards.
- Put on some music. It will cheer you up and make you happy. Bieber always works well, I can tell you that. Turn the volume up so you can hear it in the shower. Dance!
- Drink a large glass of water with a bit of lemon. It kickstarts your digestion and gives you a mini energy boost.
- Make a short to-do list with the three most important things of the day. Keep it clear and achievable.
