TOO BUSY TO EXERCISE? DIDN'T THINK SO
I sometimes catch myself saying, “Oh, I really don't have time to exercise, so busy.” NONSENSE! Sport is important, I mean it, so you make time for that. Why? Yes, it keeps you slim, but it does a lot more than that. It puts you in a good mood, clears your head (especially nice when you are busy), gives you more energy, a beautiful skin and I could go on. So for exercise, you need to make time. Here's how:
Set your alarm a tad earlier. It's really only about 15 minutes. I repeat: 15 minutes of your day. Take the 7-minute workout and do it twice in a row. Just, hup, next to your bed. Be done in no time. In the shower, get dressed and off to work. At least then you will feel like you have done something.
Anyway, I can recommend exercising in the morning. That way, you start your day energetic and happy. So. Dare to set your alarm earlier than usual. I understand you can't even go to bed earlier then because you need that time, but when you get into bed, try to go to sleep right away. Phone away, TV off, iPad aside. Anyway, that will keep you busy under the covers for another hour. So: get up an hour earlier and go for a run around the neighbourhood. Just get out your door and you'll be at the gym right away.
Do you prefer exercising together? And do you actually want to play with that friend meet up? Suggest jogging together. Can you hit the pub afterwards.
Don't feel that a workout has to last endlessly. If you are busy, schedule short half-hour workouts. For example, a run where you do exercises along the way. Be back home within half an hour.
Make a schedule. Then work, then sports, then girlfriends. It's a bit of trial and error. In the time you spend chilling on the couch at home, you could have gone for a walk. Don't get me wrong, relaxing is also very important, but the important thing is that there really is time to exercise. Have I been clear?
