Vloeibare schoonheid

The scents of this summer are just as sweet as summer drinks. But how do you choose your favorite without having to spray three layers of fragrance on top of each other and having to hold your nose over the coffee every time? Well, there’s now a much handier trick for that. And a much tastier one too, actually. I’ll present you with three cocktails where you not only don’t have to hold your nose, but where you can also stick it in. And based on this favorite of mine, you can choose your favorite scent of this summer .

Cocktail

You’re feeling: sexy, bold, wild and fun

Here's what you need for 2 glasses:
1 piece of apricot, 1 piece of orange, 1 piece of lemon, 1 shot glass of apricot brandy, 1.5 shot glasses of gin, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 cup with ice cubes

Here's how to make it:
Peel the apricot and remove the pit. Cut the orange and lemon in half, remove any seeds and squeeze the juice out above the blender’s mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until everything is well crushed. Optionally add extra ice cubes and put them in the drinking glass. Pour the cocktail over it.

And then this scent suits you…

Jimmy Choo Illicit Flower. Why? You first smell apricot, mandarin, and freesia. A hint of rose, grapefruit flower, and jasmine makes it even fresher. And we haven’t even talked about the musk, sandalwood, and cashmere that have been added. They ensure that there’s some tension in the scent and that it becomes a bit warmer. Bold and sexy is the scent definitely.

Cocktail

You’re feeling: feminine, sensual, enchanting

Here's what you need for 2 glasses:
¼ bottle of dry cava, the juice of ½ blood orange, 2 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds, and 1 slice of blood orange as garnish

Here's how to make it:
Squeeze the juice from half a blood orange and divide it over 2 champagne flutes. Scoop a tablespoon of pomegranate seeds into each glass. Carefully fill the glass with dry cava (it will fizz quite a bit at first). Garnish with half a slice of blood orange.

And then this scent suits you…
Missoni. Why? You smell blood orange, nashi pear, pink berries, and jasmine at the top. If you smell a little longer, you’ll find yourself at freesia, peony, rosefolia, and rose water. The base is a bit warmer with musk and wood. The scent is generally nice, warm, and especially very feminine. A first date? Then you have Missoni on and the cocktail above in your hand.

Cocktail

You’re feeling: sensual, transparent, seduction

This is what you need for 1 glass:
Tequila (30 ml), Mandarine Napoléon liqueur (30 ml), the fresh juice of 1 mandarin, the juice of half a lime, and mandarins as garnish

Here's how to make it:
Use a margarita glass and a shaker with ice. Squeeze 1.5 mandarins and half a lime here with a citrus press. Add 30 ml of tequila and 30 ml of Napoléon with a bar measure. Shake it well and pour it into a margarita glass. Garnish the glass with mandarins.

And then this scent suits you…
You go for Eros Pour Femme by Versace. That’s a scent where you first smell lemon, mandarin, white currant, and raspberry sorbet. Then a total flower shop comes at you: freesia, magnolia, jasmine petals, and orange blossom. It’s definitely not sweet. With the addition of woods and white patchouli, it’s a very sensual specimen.
