WHY YOU SHOULD ALSO DO THE
7 MINUTE WORKOUT

That my alarm goes off at 6:40 AM to then be in the gym from seven to eight, is nothing new. At the office, they all kind of think I'm a bit crazy. And I get that. But I’m just a nicer person when I’ve been able to rage in the gym in the morning. Besides, by the end of the day, I’m always happy to plop down on the couch. Ha, that doesn’t happen often, you know: where there’s a party, there’s Amayzine. And if it happens to get a bit later than intended, the alarm goes off an hour later.

Don’t be disappointed, I’m definitely not skipping that workout. I just swap the gym for a square meter in my living room. At such moments, the 7 minute workout is my savior in need, or the workout where you train your entire body in seven minutes.

This workout is said to be so effective that if you perform twelve exercises at full power, it can have the effect of one hour of movement. The workouts are doable for every fitness level. Beginners find it easy to master, but it’s also a challenge for advanced users. It’s a very effective workout for getting a tighter stomach, better fitness, and a slimmer and firmer body. Each muscle group is targeted for thirty seconds, and you only have ten seconds to rest between exercises. The exercises consist of squats, but also jumping jacks and push-ups.

From now on, no more excuses, you can do it anywhere. Yes, anywhere:

– In the fitting room. Just make sure to take twelve pieces if you’re ‘supposedly’ trying on clothes.

– During your weekend with the in-laws, in the guest room. A nice excuse not to have to set the breakfast table.

– During your break at the office. If you don’t have your own office, claim the elevator and pull the emergency brake. Just kidding, of course.

– In your hotel room during your weekend in Paris. Burn off those madeleines right away.

– In between the aisles in the restaurant. Just choose the disabled toilet, then you have a bit more space.

– In front of the emergency exit on the plane. Only when the lights are out, because I wouldn’t recommend it during turbulence.

And yes, of course right next to your bed, in the living room, on the balcony, or in the kitchen.
