8 things happy couples do in the morning

Yes I know, actually I can't really talk about this (because: were single), but a number of years ago I lived with my then partner and now I completely understand why it didn't work out between us. We didn't meet any of the eight points below.
No joke, of course these reasons are not the reason why we are no longer together you know, there is of course much more behind it. But after research conducted by the Huffington Post, these turned out to be the eight things that the happiest couples on earth do every morning. How many can you check off?
1. They make eye contact
While brushing their teeth or something. Just looking deeply into each other's eyes and thinking: my goodness, I'm so glad I have you.
2. They cuddle
Doesn't have to be long, but before both parties leave the house for another workday, they take a few minutes to lie in bed for a cuddle fest.
3. They try to get out of bed together as much as possible
It doesn't matter if one of you can stay in bed for at least another hour; you both get out of bed together. If you have the same morning routine, you immediately have more quality time together, even if the things you do may not be very exciting (read: getting dressed, showering, reading the newspaper).
4. They drink a cup of coffee or tea together
Or have breakfast together. Just chatting about what the other is going to do that day.
5. They always give each other a kiss
That is of course the very best form of affection (I'm also always a sucker for a kiss on my forehead).
6. Away with the phones
Because all those emails, Facebook messages or whatever can really wait another hour.
7. They fairly divide the morning tasks
Are there children in the mix? Make sure the tasks are well divided between the parents. If everything always falls on one person, you can't expect that person to walk around every morning like a happy egg.
8. Always keep laughing, no matter how tired you are
Mornings can be hectic and have a significant impact on your mood. So keep laughing at and with each other.
