You might know her as a blogger, YouTuber, NET5 presenter, fashion expert, and yes, even a bit as a designer. Because Yara has teamed up with Fred la de Bretonière for the ultimate summer espadrille. “With Chloë Sevigny.”

“Said no to a pair of shoes.”
In two sentences, why should we all wear espadrilles?
“Because they are the ultimate summer shoes. They are casual, funky, and ladylike at the same time, just like the ladies who wear them.”
Your fashion icon?
“Taylor Tomasi, the red-haired raging fashion editor with a super classy and funky style.”
First job?
“I started with my father as a copy editor. That was my first part-time job. My first real job was at ELLE as an editor, I started the very first day after I graduated.”
Your favourite among shops?
“Sandro and & Other Stories.”
What do you eat when calories are not a factor?
“Calories don't matter, I eat to enjoy. The worst snack is definitely the chicken corn. And nachos, also fantastic. Everything with caramel.”
Your very first designer piece?
“The Balenciaga City Bag. I bought it after my first big job. I saw them when I was fourteen with the Olsen Twins and I was in love ever since. I was so nervous when buying it that I forgot my PIN code.”
Do you have a beauty secret?
“Mixing a liquid highlighter with my foundation and then you get a beautiful glowy skin.”
Who would you like to have coffee with?
“With my dearest friends because we are all so busy and see each other too little.”
Which item in your closet do you wear the most?
“A black leather biker jacket, the ultimate classic that goes with everything. Whether you go for a tough or super feminine outfit, it goes with everything.”

“Especially the trend of now that anything goes. You can match sweatpants with a sequined top and Gucci heels. Love it.”

“Bali sounds like a good plan.”
Name the last three things you bought
“A bubblegum pink top with trumpet sleeves, earrings for one of my 13 ear piercings, and glitter socks.”
If your bag could talk, what would it tell us?
“That it would like to be a bit bigger like me. I always have very small mini bags so they feel that way. This is also the reason why I still have an iPhone 7 Plus; it doesn't fit in my cute little bags.”
With whom would you like to swap for a day?
“I would like to crawl into the head of a man for a day, maybe even into the head of my own husband.”
What else is on your bucket list?
“For many more years to do all the amazing things like the things I do now.”
Fashion rule you live by?
“Dress for success. Clothing is so determining for how you feel. If I want to feel strong, I wear something that empowers me. If I want to feel good, I wear something special and then I feel that way too.”
