I have currently taken over from Simone and am this week chief sniffer. Holidays are over and I’m starting the new year with a terrible cold. Woohoo. Not. All the money I hoped to save with my dry January is now all being spent on tissues and vitamins.

But even though my nose is currently suffering a lot, there is something it can still do best, and that is smelling nice fragrances. Guys, I’ve discovered another winner, you know. A trend we’ve brought along from 2016 is velvet. Velvet clothing and velvet furniture you already knew, but now we can also delight our noses with velvet thanks to Tom Ford.

Perhaps you are familiar with Black Orchid by Tom Ford. This is the newer harmonious variant. A bit more oriental with a dash of honey and rum, some cool freshness, and top-notch femininity. Even if you have the sniffles, you can smell that this is going to be a celebrity among Ford fragrances. And just a little bit about the bottle. A real showpiece for your bathroom.
