Beauty tips to hide your (Christmas) hangover

Morning. Oh no, it's already afternoon. Did you have such a nice day and also the luxury to sleep in today with maybe a little hangover? What a treat. But imagine, imagine you still have to go out. Maybe some work, a Christmas party, that brunch with friends, then I have tips for you. These are the best tips to hide your (Christmas) hangover. Handy if today the mascara is still on your chin or if you can visit family again on Monday after a night on the table. You’re welcome.

  • To skip that mascara, make sure to clean your face really well before you go to sleep, even if you’re tipsy or tired. Sleeping with foundation is really bad for your skin and it causes wrinkles. You don’t want that, of course.
  • Drink plenty of water, but there's a good chance you’ll suffer from thirst, so that should be fine.
  • Your face needs moisture. Use a good moisturizer and apply a generous layer. After that, don’t use powders, because they make your skin very dull and it’s already dull enough after all those glasses of wine.
  • Your bags are present, those puffy eyes and dark circles come from a lack of sleep and moisture. Use an eye roller with a metal ball. You’ll look a lot more awake right away. Tip: put it in the fridge before you start applying, that helps.
  • Wash your hair, that’s wise if you’ve been gourmetting. No time for that? Dry shampoo is always a handy lifesaver, but you already knew that.

So, at least you can sit down fresh and fruity at that the day after breakfast.
