ear party 2.0

As you may already know, I have had quite a few holes pierced in my ears. Something my mother was not always very happy about when I came home again with a new pair of pierced holes. But now that earrings are getting smaller and the ear party is getting bigger, she is starting to get used to it. At thirty-one, hooray! Although I often find it quite a project to find nice little jewelry pieces. That's why my heart skipped a beat recently when I just happened to stumble upon a small cute jewelry shop located on one of the famous royal canals of Amsterdam. Simplicity. You can barely fit five women in there, but the selection is huge. And the best part of all: behind the shop, a gold and silversmith is sweating to forge all that beauty on the spot. Look, and that’s what I find fun. With a golden haul (and an empty bank account), I walked out satisfied after an hour of browsing and trying on. Sorry mom, I just couldn't help it. Number seven is a fact. On to eight.
