wax on, wax off

Of all the tourist spots in Amsterdam there are a few that I think you definitely should have visited at least once. There are also a few that I think you should avoid at all costs. Madame Tussauds is one of those. There is always, and I mean always, a huge line outside the door of people wanting to take a picture with wax figures of celebrities. I just don’t get it, sorry.

 
But hey, do you like it? Then it makes sense that they at Madame Tussauds always have to keep their figures up to date. You can’t just have Britney Spears from the era of ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time‘ while she doesn’t look like that anymore. However, there is one celeb they apparently had a lot of trouble replicating. Enter: Beyoncé. Yesterday, a photo of her figure went viral because, well, because it looks nothing like her. If you had told me it was Britney, I would have believed it more. Or maybe a bit like Lindsay Lohan, that could work too. Anyway, Beyoncé doesn’t look like Beyoncé, but rather like a white woman.

 
The team at Madame Tussauds sticks with an overexposed photo, but honestly: isn’t this just a case of very poorly made?
