In case you missed it: I was in Paris last weekend. By the way, this panicked passport story came first
before that, but eventually I was sitting with my friend (and Paris virgin) Marlies with my butt in the plane. Thank god. In Paris, pretty much all the touristy things you can think of were on the agenda: selfies with the Eiffel Tower, shopping on the Champs-Élysées, a quick stop by the Arc de Triomphe plus way too many macarons + onion soup + croissants + éclairs to eat. Oh, and not to forget: on the first evening we were sipping cocktails at the coolest party of the night: the launch of the new Alcatel A5 LED. I can hear you thinking: uh, what?

Now, to be honest, I'm not really a gadget freak, but trust me: with this phone, messaging is a party. It is the first phone with an LED back cover. What does that mean? You can totally customize it to your personal taste. Do you get a WhatsApp message? Then you can make the back of your phone light up green. A Facebook message? Then I want blue fireworks. You can even make the disco back of the phone bounce along to the beats of your music. Drake is blasting through the speakers in the office. How fun is this? The award for most fun smartphone has this Alcatel phone in the bag already. Well, I guess I should get back to work.
