here you want to drink cocktails in Paris

I may have grown up there, but I still discover something new every time I come to the city of love (remember these sayings and you are practically a local). Last weekend I was able to add something to my never-ending list of hotspots again: Maison Sauvage. A café that my girlfriend and I stumbled upon while walking through Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of my favorite neighborhoods, along with Le Marais.

A café on a corner that was covered in greenery. Everything about it was Instagrammable, and perhaps that’s also the reason we thought we’d take a seat on one of their many green stools (also because we had already walked I don’t know how many kilometers and needed to take a break) voor een koud drankje. That cold beverage became a ‘Wild & Wise’ cocktail. Gin with tonic and crushed ice: heaven. It might cost a bit more than we are used to in the Netherlands, but hey, it’s Paris and money has to flow, right? Anyway, are you heading to the city of love? Go here, go here. And not just for the cocktails, because their food menu is divine as well. Adieu!
