On the editorial team, the text-on-shirt team is well represented. Elke is the captain, with a touch of universe. Lil is all about a French vibe. May occasionally shows up with a cheeky text on her chest. Kiek loves the wonderful wordplay. Simone is our rocker. And me? I’m indulging a little bit with all of them. Now I’ve discovered one that you might want too.

The oversized fit of my latest favorite is very Elke, the wink comes from May and Lil would be proud of me, because this one shouts Paris. The cheerful one can’t even make it from the clothesline to the closet, because I’ll pluck it off the line again. The text ‘Les Filles Pigalle‘ adorns the chest. Pigalle is the red-light district of Paris. Look, I find that top-level chuckle-worthy. It’s all très designer stitched on the shirt and, to keep it practical, it stays in shape after countless washes.

Where do I find such fun? Wanderlust Amsterdam. You should remember this for a shirt in anxious times. And I’m not talking about a nice neutral, because this is the shop for when you don’t do basics. Kiki Paniekie is also successful, because I saw something with ‘Namaslay’. Lil can get by with a croissant on her chest and I’m putting the red version with ‘Merde’ on the fragile chest pocket right on my to-do list for today. Or on the to-shop list actually.
