YOU CAN'T MISS THIS

I'm pretty sure this was the first movie we had a video tape of at home (which meant: it was watched monthly). I've always been a sucker for Whitney's music, but what I especially loved about her in this movie was that she was a badass. And then came a musical and you understand, if you're a fan of the movie, then you have to come here.

You should know that I am always a bit hesitant when it comes to musicals in the Netherlands because I grew up with everything in English. Songs are often translated into Dutch. That's perfectly fine, but all those classics from Whit, they just have to be in English. And if there's someone who does that in an exceptionally good way, it's Romy Monteiro. And April Darby by the way too.
But guys, bad news: The Bodyguard is going to stop. July 16 will be the very last performance and believe me: this is a must. You really want to experience this one more time. Want to know why? Then check this out.  The story, the punch, Sy Spector, the staging… Do I need to say more? So come on, book those tickets here. Otherwise, you'll regret it.
