It was casually dropped by Carrie (you know, Bradshaw): ‘Just a quick stop at Saks on Fifth Avenue.’ And that, that became a thing for me. You could say a THING, because a ticket to NYC to visit this ultimate location in real life became more serious. And it took shape. Airplane shapes, hotel shapes, agenda shapes, that sort of thing. Me and a tutu along Saks OFF 5TH. The tutu and I in the fashion department. Sniffing around high-heeled beauties.

But now, now it’s no longer necessary. If Mohammed doesn’t go to the mountain, then the mountain will come to Mohammed. The mountain in this case is Saks OFF 5th and I am Mo. Because, drumroll, in September you can just go to Rotterdam. There opens the first Saks OFF 5TH location. Yes, and first definitely means what you think it means, because in November there will also be a store in Amsterdam. I never have to go to New York again. Okay, that last part is a joke of course.
