HOCUS POCUS POWDER

(the favorite powders of the editorial team)

It's winter, so we all come out a bit paler than with sun. What to do? Looking for your all-time favorite powders. I'm a big fan of Clinique's Compact Powder, with a touch of Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstar Glow. And these are the favorites of your editors.

Guerlain Terracotta (for the glow)

A classic. I have it and our sales director Daan is also a proud owner. This bronzing powder gives you the looks of an afternoon on the terrace, but in the heart of a cloudy winter. And one bonus point: the powder has a nice scent. That really makes the brush glide over your cheeks.

Clinique Stay Matte (for the matte)

My support and comfort for the shiny nose. With Clinique's compact powder, you can easily wave away all unwanted shine from your face. You can of course bring that back with the right highlighter where you want it. Having trouble with sensitive skin? Then Clinique is also a perfect match.

She looks like she has spent a day with her hair in the wind on a boat.

La Prairie Bronzer (for the subtle)

Do you want just a bit more sun on your cheek in the summer (or winter)? You do that with La Prairie's bronzer. It wears lightly, has a subtle glow, and is Simone's winner.

MAC Blot Powder Pressed (for the natural)

Kiek and Lilian are team MAC, but you already knew that. The mattifying powder in the makeup bags is also from our friends. It takes away excess shine, but still looks natural. And one plus: you have no visible powder layer on your face.

& Other Stories Luminising Powder (for the highs)

If you're looking for Elke, first bike past & Other Stories. There's a big, big chance you'll find her among all the beauty. Her secret is the Luminising Powder, because it gives just the right highlight to her already beautiful face.

Chanel Les Beiges (for the perfect)

And last but certainly not least, Chanel of course. You know May and May is a resident of Huize Chanel. To emphasize her fresh complexion even more, she powders her face with Les Beiges. Just the name is already delightful. She looks like she has spent a day with her hair in the wind on a boat.
