Look at the credit card queen
(and why having such a card is really very handy)
I never quite understand when people say they don't have a credit card. Really? How is that possible? I could never order the card fast enough. It always sounded so grown-up to me, a credit card. Only suitable for very, very cool, capable, and sensible people.
Recently, a friend (you know who you are) asked me for the umpteenth time if she could borrow my Mastercard Classic. Of course, that's actually not allowed at all, and that's why I recommend everyone to have one themselves. And here's why:

All those coins, a heavy wallet, multiple cards... It's all unnecessary now, girlfriend. Research shows that the average Dutch person prefers to have one universal payment method. Enter: the Mastercard Classic. And how nice is it to be able to pay with one credit card all over the world?
Taking a taxi is a party
As you know, I'm addicted to taxis. And I can tell you that there's nothing more relaxing than getting into an Uber and not having to think about whether or not you have cash with you. The money is automatically deducted from my: you guessed it.
No more hassle with booking hotels
This is what I use my Mastercard for the most. Goodbye frustrations on hotel sites, hi freedom! I still remember how much I used to get annoyed when I found the perfect little hotel but couldn't book it because I didn't have a credit card. All in the past, yay!
Shop and pay 21 days later
Plus, you can take your time to look at everything at home and return it if it's not really your thing. Oh, and a tip from me: don't go completely wild while shopping, because then you'll be shocked a month later. And yes, this comes from someone with experience.
Almost all your purchases are insured
Pretty much everything you buy with your Mastercard Classic is usually insured for 180 days against loss, theft, and damage. And suppose something goes wrong with the delivery of your order, then with the Delivery Guarantee, you can usually get your money back. Quite handy.
You can go out with that little bag again
Because: just one card. So there's also room for your phone and lipstick. It must be said: long live the credit card!
