After exactly one week of being a gym subscriber, I started the day today as usual. In other words: anything but in the mood for sports. Something with brace pain, so not being able to have breakfast properly and as the icing on the cake tonight an appointment with the ‘I really can’t cancel this-blabla-friend’. In other words: Lils‘ excuse corner is on ’on’ with just one real reason: sport-avoiding behavior.

I crawl behind my desk and opposite me the cutest little face with the longest eyelashes on earth looks at me: ‘Shall I make you a protein shake, Lil? You probably haven’t had breakfast yet, trouble with your brace and muscle pain from yesterday. Or am I wrong?’ No Sim, as usual you’re not wrong. Her radar is sharp and how she does it I still don’t know exactly, but with one look she immediately sees what’s going on in my grumpy head. And that, that is the sweetest and so much more than a nice colleague with the perfect dose of humor and wardrobe.

Anyway, Simone’s wardrobe, let’s talk about that for a moment too. Because her Look of the Day scores fashion points again today. With her pretty top from Zara (okay? seriously, check those abs, I have to work out tonight, guys), her 90’s jeans from Levi’s, the bag from & Other Stories, the sunglasses from Ray-Ban and All Stars on her feet. Dear Simoon, you are my favorite, even with those envy-inducing eyelashes. See you this afternoon at the gym. And tomorrow I won’t be grumpy anymore, I promise.
