Netflix Horror Marathon

Movies you never want to watch alone

Hey hey horror fans, this one is especially for you. No trouble with movies about psycho killers, demons, or supernatural, crazy storylines? Good, then the latest binge list is for you. Perfect for the dreary summer weather. More in the mood for romance? Voilà. Or something that gets your heart racing? I have that too. A list that will make your boy very happy? We are here for all kinds of things. Or did you just break up with your boy and need something to get over him? Here movies that will help you with that. Okay, now back to the horror theme. Want to know what Netflix has to offer you? Here they come:

Train to Busan

Also known as Bu-san-haeng, a South Korean zombie film in which a high-speed train traveling from Seoul to Busan is overrun by zombies.

The Omen

A classic from 1976 about a man who begins to realize that his son may be a reincarnation of the devil.

The Shining

Another classic with Jack Nicholson at his scariest. The story in short: a family stays in an abandoned hotel in winter where a lot of supernatural evil is found and sweet Jackie turns into a psycho.

It Follows

Okay, I just saw the trailer for this and this shit looks wack. A girl meets a boy, sleeps with him, and then she is followed by some weird spirit. Sounds weird, right? It probably is, but if you love horror, you will probably think this is totally awesome.

Hush

I recently started this one, but I must admit I haven't finished it yet because: I’m a scaredy cat and I actually don’t dare to watch these kinds of things. It’s about a woman who lives in a remote house somewhere in the woods and has also lost her hearing. And then a psycho killer shows up...

The Invitation

Starring our own Michiel Huisman in a story about a couple inviting old friends for a dinner party, but it turns out they have very different plans than just enjoying a meal together.

You’re Next

In the category ‘I never want to live in a forest again’ you find the movie ‘You’re Next’. The Davinson family comes together to celebrate an anniversary, but that party is once again completely ruined by a psychopath (this time wearing a rabbit mask) who is quite good with a bow and arrow.

Crimson Peak

Looking for a horror movie with a lot of celebrities? Then you’re good with Crimson Peak. Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, Tom Hiddleston, and Mia Wasikowska tell the story of an ambitious writer who is torn between her love for an old friend and a mysterious outsider. And then she flees to a house full of ghosts from her past.

The Human Centipede

Do you love disgusting horror movies? Then you want to see this. The name alone says enough about what you can expect. A crazy doctor who wants to do something (very) weird with his prisoners.
Happy binging!
