4 milkshakes that you can sip on the couch without guilt
Nowadays, you are overwhelmed by the towering, calorie-rich milkshakes that are also available in all colors. Or actually ‘freakshakes’ as they are called. Instagram is full of them. If there isn't a colorful example on your account, then you aren't really participating. Nice to look at: fine, but slurping one of those things down after you've already had that avocado sandwich or that greasy burger: I'll pass... Are you a sucker for milkshakes, but still want to lose a few pounds before you plop down on a pearly white beach spot? These four homemade shakes are just as freaking delicious, but a lot friendlier for that finally toned belly. For this afternoon, on the couch or hopefully in the sun on your lounge chair.
Walnut-honey milkshake
- 200 ml Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp walnuts
- 10 ice cubes
- 100 ml almond milk
- pulp of half a vanilla pod
- 2 tbsp oats
- 2 tbsp honey
- pinch of cinnamon
- Everything in the blender and voilà!
Peaches & cream
- 1 ripe peach
- 100 ml vanilla Skyr
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 50 ml water
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- coconut flakes as topping
- Everything in the blender and voilà!
Chocolate heaven
- 250 ml almond milk
- 1 small frozen banana
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 espresso shot (cooled)
- 2 tsp almond paste
- grated dark chocolate as garnish
- Everything in the blender and voilà!
Coconut paradise
- 1 banana
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 20 grams of raw cashews
- 150 milliliters of coconut water
- 2 tablespoons coconut chips
- Everything in the blender and voilà!
