THE PERFECT INSTAGRAM VACATION PHOTO

Here's how to make it

A very good morning, dear Instagram friends, how is your feed? Good? Or still busy with freshly baked croissants for the perfect flatlay? Hopefully, you are not too busy, because today I will give new tips and tricks to make your Instagram account even more beautiful. As you may have seen, I have been chilling in Barcelona this week. Vive les good vibes. From the coolest hotspots to lounging on the beach or by the pool; nice relaxation that is secretly also the perfect moment to update your Instagram account with a dose of summery, envy-inducing, and especially very Instagrammable photos. And no, I'm not talking about hotdog legs or cocktail selfies. What I do mean? I'm going to tell you now. Are you reading along? Sexy back

Don't break your neck, but do check the background. With the gigantic assortment of colors, textures, hotspots, and landscapes during your vacation, it's extra fun to make use of all the beauty around you. Think in advance whether you want to go for bold, robust, or just sweetly romantic, find the perfect background, and et voilà; the rest will follow.

Sunny.

Sun is what you want on vacation, but not always in photos. At least, not in the middle of the day. Therefore, try to take photos especially at the beginning or at the end of the day. The light after sunrise is much calmer and thus more photogenic than that bright afternoon sun.

Strike a pose, but also not.

Step out of your #strikeapose comfort zone, move while taking a photo, and don't be afraid to be spontaneous. Bet that the best photos are the most spontaneous ones?

Planning time

On vacation, it's actually forbidden to plan, but when it comes to a little Instagram tip, maybe it's okay. Did you take too many beautiful photos in one day? Spread them out over the coming days. For your feed, but certainly also for your followers, it's much more fun to post two to three photos a day. And you know what they say: those who save have. So download the Preview app and start planning.

Hashtag no filter.

Filters are no longer needed on vacation. At least, minimally. Due to the warm color of the sun, you can better avoid orange tones in your photo. Preferably go for a fresh or cooler touch.

It’s all about the details, baby.

Especially on vacation or on a city trip, you come across the cutest details. On your plate during a fancy dinner, between your feet on the beach, or maybe you come across an artistic surprise on the street. Capture those kinds of images. You'll see: they look great in your Instagram feed and do super well for inspiration with your followers.

Do you know the story of the Instagram color palette? Yes, right? Now that you're going on vacation, it's important to stick to a color scheme. Every destination has its own color. Think of white and blue tones in Greece, pastel-colored towns in Italy, and bright colors in Spain.

Color palette

I say: enough reason to really book that city trip now. Next stop: Ibiza. See you there? Nice!.
