Shoes en Suite

This was the perfect Friday afternoon

A few times a year we get to organize something fun for Omoda. Usually a lunch with lovely women, good food and above all… shoes. Often we did that at the office (like here), but now we felt like a little outing. The autumn/winter collection from Omoda simply calls for the most beautiful stage and we also wanted to get out for a bit.

Because only the best of the best is good enough for Omoda and our readers, we booked the suite at the W hotel (you know, where Kiki wants to live) in Amsterdam. Two floors of pure luxury, with a view of the Singel and Amsterdam's gabled roofs. Since we couldn't possibly move the entire collection of Omoda to the suite, we made a pre-selection of eight shoes and boots for our guests to choose from. To make the party completely perfect, we were also allowed to choose a new pair. Especially the Lola Cruz heels with star elastic were a favorite. And the Nubikk motor boots for Lilian with studs and the Dr. Martens for Simone.

Readers came from all directions with their friends. From Borne to Brabant to Zeeland and Utrecht. We ate burrata and tuna and shared the tastiest brownie we had eaten in ages. And we tried on shoes. And talked about shoes. And breathed shoes. Anneke and Gertie from Omoda had accurately assessed the choice behavior, because everyone went home with a fitting pair, a filled goodie bag and a satisfied stomach. Ready for the weekend and for winter. It won't be the shoes that hold you back.
