So your partner is cheating?

Doctor Foster to the rescue

Imagine this: at some point you find all these long blonde hairs on your boyfriend or husband's clothes, while you yourself are a brunette. Or the other way around. What do you do then? Do you not think about it or do you not trust the situation? Is that boy of yours faithful? Well, if you are Doctor Gemma Foster, then you go investigate because something clearly ain’t right.

The first season of Doctor Foster became a national obsession in England. Lead actress Suranne Jones even won a Bafta (comparable to the television award in the Netherlands or American Emmys, so to speak) for her role as a 40-year-old doctor who goes completely loco when she discovers that her husband struggles with keeping his hands to himself and her revenge is delightful to watch. A badass woman who, okay, also ruins a few lives, but a handful of crazy does make for a delicious binge session. I said it here before: secretly we do love some sleazy stories about infidelity and deception and because Penoza is currently quite disappointing (sorry not sorry) this will be your new favorite.

And tomorrow the second season of Doctor Foster finally starts on BBC First. Avoid a case of series FOMO by curling up on the couch and switching to BBC First at 9:00 PM for season two of Doctor Foster.

And to use the absolute best quote ever (thanks GQ): ‘Doctor Foster wrecked lives. She wrecked her own life. But she made life-wrecking cool.’ And if there are even people voting for Gemma Foster as the very first female James Bond (Gemma Bond), well, that says enough, right? I’ll definitely be in front of the TV on Saturday, will you too?

Happy binging!
