This says something about you if you always hang out last in the pub

A little ignoring the musty beer smell, a little flirting in line for the bathroom, and a little yelling in your friends' ears: oh yes, going out is truly something unique.
If you love hanging out in the bars and only put on your coat when the markets are already setting up outside: we have good news for you. If you are indeed the person who can't be dragged away from the pub and is the last soul left at a party weekend after weekend, then you have nothing to be ashamed of. You are actually an incredibly social and curious person, as research shows.
Smarty pants
Scientists also state that people who stay up late are smarter. So the Einsteins are not the ones who complain about being ‘tired’ and ‘wanting to go to bed’, no no, you are worried about whether to order a GT or a good old vodka-orange and whether to chat with that blonde bartender or the other one. Or about where you threw your scarf and bagagain. According to Psychology Today, people with higher intelligence are more active at night. People with an IQ above 125 (which is almost gifted) go to bed on average at 1:44 AM on weekends and get up at 11:07 AM. In comparison: people with an IQ lower than 75 go to bed on average at 12:35 AM on weekends and get up at 10:09 AM. People with an average IQ, around 100, go to bed on average at 1:13 AM on weekends and set their alarm for 10:14 AM.
Need more reasons to stick around the bar? Also a nice side effect from psychology: people who sway and stumble longer at a party are more mindful. So you don't need a mindfulness course for that. After all: party animals live completely in the here and now. Recognizable? That hangover you'll see tomorrow. And biking home in the rain doesn't have to happen just yet, are you crazy? And whether you're tired for the rest of the week and not productive at all tomorrow doesn't matter either. You enjoy what you're doing at that moment – chatting with the whole pub – and that is incredibly important for a person.
So, old pub tiger with the ever-hoarse voice on Monday mornings, if you're reading this: just stay who you are and order another round. Or two.
