This says the time you go to sleep about your IQ
Some people can get out of bed without problems even before the alarm goes off, while others can't be woken up with a chainsaw.
I belong to the latter category: in the first hours of the day, I only want coffee and especially little to no human contact. In the evening, however, ha, that's when the fun begins. I can chat until you go deaf, linger at the table for hours, binge-watch 81 seasons of Netflix, and above all, I don't think about sleeping.
According to psychologists, there is a connection between the time you usually go to bed and your IQ. What turns out? People who stay up late and enjoy night owling are a lot smarter. In fact, this conclusion is based on something from the past. Many people long ago - in those good old days without alarms, yes - simply followed the day and night rhythm of the sun. They would milk the cows when it got light and take a nap when it got dark. But only the real smart ones invented their own times. You needed guts and intelligence for that.
This has now been proven again. People with a higher IQ go to bed later than people with a somewhat lower IQ.
Check these facts:
IQ < 75
Weekday sleep times: 11:41 PM – 7:20 AM
Weekend sleep times: 12:35 AM – 10:09 AM
IQ < 110
Weekdays: 12:10 AM – 7:32 AM
Weekend: 1:13 AM – 10:14 AM
IQ > 125
Weekdays: 12:29 AM - 7:52 AM
Weekend: 1:44 AM – 11:07 AM
Phew, now I suddenly don't feel guilty at all when I can't wake up again when that @#^3#@$^! alarm goes off. No no, I actually feel quite smart when I oversleep. Yay.
