THE 18 WTF MOMENTS OF 2016
We are now four days deep into the new year, but I want to talk about 2016 one last time. Because hosternokke, what a bizarre crazy year it was in the world of celebrities. Just in case you forgot, here are all the shocking events in a row:
1. The year started off badly when David Bowie passed away on January 10.
2. And four days later we also lost actor Alan Rickman.
3. You would think that one music hero up there was enough, but then we all had to say goodbye to Prince (bye 2016, I was actually done with you already).
4. Were you all also so captivated by Taylor Swift's love life? First, she was happy in love with Calvin Harris, and suddenly, poof, they were apart.
5. A few days after the news of the break-up, there was Tom Hiddleston. They traveled the world together and made one headline after another. And that grown man even wore shirts with ‘I <3 TS’ on them.
6. And then Taylor Swift was single again. Bye bye, Tom. Onto the next one.
7. But the pop princess remained in the spotlight. This time thanks to Kanye, because Taylor claimed she never approved the term ‘bitch’ in his song Famous. He did, and bam: Kim Kardashian came to her hubby's rescue with the footage where Taylor agreed to his lyrics.

10. And not just Brangelina, but all these couples gave us a reason to stop believing in love.
11. Oh yes, and let's not forget Trump. Well, actually, we would prefer to forget him. WTF happened, America?
12. And then that speech from Melania. HAHAHA.
13. A highlight was that Leonardo DiCaprio finally got to take home an Oscar. YASSS.
14. The nudes of Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber. You surely haven't forgotten those, right?
15. Millions of teenage hearts broke when Zayn decided to leave One Direction. But wow, what sexy music we got in return. We definitely didn't want to miss his ‘Pillowtalk’, did we?.
16. From breaking the internet to radio silence. 2016 was also the year in which Kim Kardashian took a break from social media after a severe burglary during Paris Fashion Week ( that break was finally lifted yesterday, by the way).
17. Well, how the year started is how it ended. Christmas will never be the same again, RIP George Michael.
18. And for the new year, 2016 also decided to take Carrie Fischer and her mother Debbie Reynolds with it.
