The best dating tips for autumn

Sweater weather is upon us, and that also means that terrace dates and beach dates have to make way for other activities to do with your loved one. We have here still the original date tips that remain fun, but to stay in the spirit of fall, I have created the list below, in case you are still looking for a fun activity for you and your love/potential fling.

Walking

Not only because it has so many benefits, but also because – if it doesn't rain – the city or the forest looks incredibly beautiful with all the fallen leaves. Grab a coffee to go and go for a romantic walk. And just to come back to that cup of coffee; it seems that this the best places in the Netherlands to get it.

Walibi Fright Night

For the diehards who are up for a screaming date: the whole month of October is Walibi Fright Night. You can immediately see if you are dealing with a wimp or not.

Horror movie marathon

In case you find Walibi Fright Night a bit too scary, just arrange your own horror movie marathon at home on the couch. Guaranteed good for your sex life, say the experts.

Grab an ADE party together

Maybe not as a first date, but it is definitely something different than meeting somewhere in a pub for a drink. Dance together until the late hours or early morning (however you want to put it) with your love.

Or a Halloween party

Do you both enjoy a costume party? Then I would definitely recommend a Halloween party. Perhaps even in matching costumes; fun.

Amsterdam Light Festival

Officially starts at the end of November (the 28th) and runs until January 19, but take a boat trip together with your love or go for a walk along the Amsterdam canals. Nothing says romance quite like a city filled with lights.

Museum night

More in the mood for an educational or cultural date? Make sure to meet on Saturday, November 2. More than 50 museums will open their doors with a special program and plenty of fun afterparties are planned.

Happy dating!
