This is the most binged on Netflix in the Netherlands
Binge raced, yes. It's a word. I didn't get it at first either, but what we are dealing with here are the Binge Racers. In other words: a new kind of Netflix fan who looks forward to a release of their favorite series so much that it has become a kind of sport to watch it as quickly as possible once it is released. Just watching an entire season within 24 hours. Yeah, I can binge well, but this is really for the pros.
Not only in the Netherlands, but worldwide, one series has secured the coveted (I guess we can call it that, seems like a compliment for the creators) first place. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is the most binge raced series ever. Funny enough, in the top ten of the Netherlands, you don't have series like Narcos and House of Cards – two successful Netflix Originals. But it also makes sense, because if you want to watch a series within 24 hours, you want something that is quick and not too complicated. Here is the top ten of the Netherlands:
