This is what it really means when you have a sex dream

Wild or shy: we all have a sexual fantasy. But yes, it doesn't happen every day that you make that fantasy a reality.

And so it often happens that you let your imagination run wild in your sleep. Can it be harmful? Not at all. One of the most common sexual dreams is that you are having wild sex with someone else while youare in a relationship. Often people have this when they have a stable, long-term relationship with someone. According to psychologists, this actually means that you want to do your best for your relationship. It may also give you some insight into your current sex life, which might have been better at some point... Painful, but still an unconscious message to yourself.

But don't take it too seriously. Whether it's an ex, an acquaintance, or your colleague; it doesn't necessarily say something about that one person, more about your current RELATIONSHIP. 

Time to spice it up, hon. Wearing your red lingerie for your sweetheart the next night might be a good idea.

There are more sexual dreams with meanings. Your partner having sex with someone else, also a classic. This can mean that you feel something is not quite right in your relationship or that you are insecure. It doesn't have to be, of course, but if you dream about it regularly, you might want to take a moment for yourself to think about everything.

And if you wake up and think: well, I just had dream sex with a girlfriend? Nothing to be ashamed of. It happens often. It doesn't mean that you suddenly have a thing for people of the same sex. You just love your friendships and cherish them. The fact that it goes further in your sleep than pure friendship doesn't really mean anything. Just something to laugh about the next morning.

Our advice: don't worry too much about those nocturnal escapades. They aren't real anyway. And your partner certainly doesn't need to know everything, right?
