A very good morning, and hello August! Yes, it is really August 1st and no, your weather app is not confused. In the coming days, we still have to deal with changeable weather and the tropical temperatures have gone on vacation far from the Netherlands. And who can blame them, because rain is just really annoying during your summer vacation, right?
The weather, we can’t do anything about it. A little complaining is allowed from time to time, but I have a much better idea. We just ignore that rain. I just decided to wear my summer dresses in the summer, no matter the weather. Hiding in those ripped jeans is for autumn, it’s summer time baby, and we celebrate that in flowy fabrics and summery prints. Today I’m starting off in a dress from Mango. I’m pairing it with a biker jacket from Zara and boots from Saint Laurent. The bag from A.P.C. I borrowed from Elke (once a bag thief, always a bag thief), my earrings are from & Other Stories, the necklace is from Overload Studios, the bracelet from Wouters & Hendrix, my shell ring from Scout & Jem and last but not least I slid my Céline sunglasses on my nose for the perfect summer feeling. See you tomorrow in your summer look? That sun will surely peek around the corner, I’m sure of it.
