We gaan naar Ibiza

“Do you like the idea of going to Ibiza for a few days, Bellie?” That was May's question about three weeks ago. “You will stay at the Ushuaia Hotel and learn everything about sleep.” Uuuh, you don't even have to think about that, of course. How fun is it to go to Ibiza for your job? And my hobby is sleeping. So it happened. Off to the party island of Europe, thanks to Simba Matras. I hear you thinking: what are you going to learn about sleep in Ibiza? Not really the island for that.

But before I take you along, let me introduce myself first. I am Annabelle and I take care of the social media at your favorite site and all those handsome faces in the Look of the Day (check it out yourself).

Okay, Ibiza then. On my bed in the Ushuaia, a nice yoga outfit was ready for me, intended for (you guessed it) our class and a meditation session on the roof of the hotel by yoga guru Hope Bastine. I will never be more relaxed than I was on that roof. To maintain all that relaxation, I joined our dream food dinner. What you eat is important for a good portion of sleep. Kiwi, spinach, and olives are super sleep foods, so you know what you're eating tonight.

After a good night's sleep (ha), I finally went to see Blue Marlin. That is Ibiza's famous beach club and Simba has luxurious sunbeds there all summer long. But I mean beds. They obviously need to be tested, and that was quite my cup of tea. Or wine, with sushi and a lovely company. On a masterful mattress plus a phenomenal sunset. Do you have the picture? It was the most comfortable afternoon of my life.

If you also visit Ibiza soon, you will of course want to test those sunbeds yourself. You can do that at Blue Marlin and you won't regret it. Dear May, dear Simba, I have rarely entered the summer so well-rested.
