What Kiki thinks so far of the Expeditie Robinson candidates
Oh godnondekokosknetter what am I looking forward to again. My favorite (probably yours too) is almost back on the air. Just THREE weeks left. Do you think what I think? Still enough time to take a good look at the candidates.
Anyway, the first two episodes of Expeditie Robinson always take some getting used to. There are often about three/four people you know, but there are also a lot of #WhoAreAllThesePeople?! And honestly, the people you do know often have some sort of advantage. As long as ‘that one’ and ‘that one’ don't get eliminated in episode 1! Recognizable? So it's time to get to know all the candidates. At least the celebrities, I've already discussed the four unknowns. here Time for an introduction round?
Soundos el Ahmadi
Of course, I start with Soundos. This woman is freaking brilliant. Or haven't you seen her in season 11 of Who is the Mole ? This will definitely be the joker of the group. If we crack up over someone during the confessions in the rattan houses, it's her, mark my words.
Danny Froger
So they thought at the production: what if we look for a new kind of Dave Roelvink. Let's see, the son of a big folk singer. HA, FROGER! Let's just say I'm very curious about Froger. But I can already tell you, buddy, you can't compare him to my boy Dave .
Brace
Wasn't he our R&B/soul youth hero during the times of MTV, TMF, and The Box? I think Brace deserves a second chance, people. And if we want to see someone fall off on that island, it's a singer with the last name MacDonald HAHA. I can totally picture that guy going WILD during the merge dinner, if he makes it that far. I think Brace will be the people's friend of the group.
Marieke Elsinga
I think Marieke will be fun, but I can also imagine that some people might find her annoying. I do think the ex-RTL Late Night Sidekick is someone who actively builds huts and goes on coconut hunts.
Anouk Hoogendijk
Yesss, quite proud of this Utrecht woman who has really made it far in her football career. Usually, I find the sports chicks annoying (remember Edith Bos? Brrr) but Anouk seems like someone who will beat all those men on that island. Or she might get voted out immediately because people see her as a strong player, that could happen too.
Carolina Dijkhuizen
That singer, right? And something with musicals? Exactly. Also fished out of the Who is the Mole pot. I thought there was an agreement about that? WIDM candidates not also in Ex Rob? Apparently, that rule is out the window. Anyway, Carolina still needs to prove herself on the island as far as I'm concerned, because honestly, I find her a bit -yawn- right now. .
Shelly Sterk
Yep, now we officially reach the point where I have to Google before I know who I'm talking about. But, AAAH, Shelly. Yes, I recognize that face from BNN and she does all sorts of crazy experiments on Galileo. Hmm, let’s see. I see Shelly being a bit of a follower. The Jazzy Jessie Jazz Vuijk of this year. Just a feeling, you know.
Kaj Gorgels
So I officially feel like a grandma, but I had never heard of this guy before. Who is Kaj? Youtuber, vlogger, online entrepreneur, whateverdafak you wanna call it. He posts a large amount of contentless and dry videos with a flat accent online every week and doesn't take himself too seriously, I think. Hey Kaj, I like you. I'm curious about you. And RTL, I already think you have a ratings hit with this guy.
Niels Gomperts
You might know him as Lucien van Walraven from the crime series Penoza. In 2015, he also participated in the adventurous game show De Zeven Zeeën from BNN. Either you find him a hottie, or you think he's too slick. I think Niels will be the ladies' man on the island.
Nicole Buch
If you had shown me a picture of this woman earlier, I wouldn't have had any idea who she was. Ah, something with the series Buch in de Bajes with her husband Menno Buch. I vaguely know that. Nicole is Executive Producer for various producers like Holland Media House and IDTV. According to her, she can read people within a few minutes because of her work. Go get them, tiger.
Roeland Fernhout
Have you seen Philine says Sorry? Or the TV series All Stars? Then you know the actor. See? It's not that hard, people! I think this is a smart guy who will manage well for himself on the island. Are we going to plot nicely, Roeland? Excited.
So, now you can't shout at the TV anymore: who are those people? Promised?
