WHICH CAR SUITS YOU?

For hours we can bicker about who should take which designer bag. I am team Chanel and Jérôme, Daniëlle is very much Balenciaga, Lilian is Chloé and Yves Saint Laurent, Kiki is also an omnivore in this and goes from Gucci to Dolce & Gabbana and Lanvin to Furla, Annick recently bought her first Real, Real bag from Proenza, classic Simone mainly has Louis Vuitton and Elke bought an A.P.C., because you can take the girl out of Paris, but you can't take Paris out of the girl.

So far for the bag. Let alone buying a car. That is just a slightly different amount. And while you can still occasionally switch bags, you choose a car for years and years and you have it with you every day. Just like with bags, although we all love comfort and beautiful things, we have different needs.

The high gentlemen at Renault (well, mainly Corporate Design director Laurens van den Acker) have thought this through well. Laurens van den Acker divided our lives into petals. Each petal represents a different life phase. So there is a petal ‘Play’, because we are playful and we want a small, agile model that is equipped with all conveniences. Voilà, for this we have the Renault Twingo. It is cute, has a small turning circle, drives economically, has a nice loading space but not such a huge one that seven suitcases fit in, because you don't have a family and then you prefer a slightly smaller car and that parking space.

Have you found your lover and are you head over heels in love, then the petal with the theme ‘Love’ appears. And the Renault Clio. A slightly sturdier car, five-door of course, with everything just a bit bigger and stronger and if suddenly a Maxi-Cosi needs to fit in, then that is no problem at all.

For the more advanced young woman, yay Simone, there is the Renault Captur. An urban crossover and that basically means you can do everything with it and it fits everywhere. It is compact but cool. You can easily park it in the city center, but you can also go on an adventure with it. Ideal for Simone when she wants to take a round in the dunes. It has a dashboard so spacious that your sports bag almost fits in it and the coolest glove compartment ever (which is actually a drawer and as big as it is. Big…). So you can secretly hide candies in it.

And when that family expands and you suddenly (well, suddenly, suddenly) have three daughters, then there is the Renault Scénic. You need space. For everything. Strollers, car seats, diaper bags, hockey bags, Chanel bags, new plants for the garden and that cute pouf you came across at the hardware store. Enter that Renault Scénic. It is also available with Hybrid Assist. Good for the environment. And for the wallet.
