8 facts and rumors about Riverdale season 3
Today is the day: Riverdale finally drops the very first episode of season 3 on Netflix today. And to prepare you extra well for The Black Hood, a chocolate cherry milkshake from Pop's and the Archie, Jughead, Veronica, and Betty crew, I have lined up a number of facts and rumors for you. From the Archie drama, Polly's secret to the newbies in town; this is what you want to know:
1. Shocking scene
If we are to believe Netflix, we need to prepare for a shocking scene in the season opener. It seems that the life and health of one of the main characters is seriously at risk...
2. Newbies
We finally know who will play the roles of Gladys Jones and Jellybean Jones (you know, Jughead Jones's mother and sister). While Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven from Stranger Things) was previously mentioned, it has turned out to be someone else. Jellybean Jones will be played by Trinity Likins and Gina Gershon plays her mother.
Furthermore, Riley Keough has been cast as Laurie Lake, a typical American farm girl who will drive Jughead and Archie quite crazy. Also, the son of Mark Consuelos (Hiram Lodge) has landed a role in Riverdale. Michael plays the young Hiram in the flashback episode.
