And now…

The outfits

Yes guys, all fun and games who won what and why actually, but in the end, we are all talking about the packages today. A few times a year, I get to apply my secret pleasure (namely the glass givers from the gossip magazines) to Amayzine. Here we go.

Beyoncé

Beyonce didn’t perform, but of course, she made sure she was seen and that we all talked about her. Noted. Beyoncé clearly didn’t listen to Coco Chanel’s advice which was: ‘Before you leave the house, always take one thing off’. No, it was both rastafarian braids, a hat, earrings down to her shoulders, sunglasses, and a dress with splits up to the slip. I don’t know. There you are next to your daughter Blue Ivy with a hat so big that it blocks the view of four people and sunglasses on as if you’re sitting on the hottest day on the terrace of Cheval Blanc in St. Barth. I love Beyoncé, but let’s put it this way, I think I’ve seen her happier. And more stylish. Do you remember the Versace dress with the low neckline? Something like that. Alright, three glasses, but mainly for the effort.

Lana Del Rey

Do you also long for a new album from Lana? That album was quite a shock, so beautiful. Luckily she’s still around and her looks are still fabulous. Beautiful Gucci dress with a statement headpiece, after all, you’re at the Grammys and not in Ibiza. Five glasses, hop.

Katie Holmes

In a strapless leather Zac Posen dress. Reserved, but hey, it’s not about her tonight, and it’s cool and daring. The most important accessory was of course her long-hidden beloved Jamie Foxx. What a lovely couple, those two. Five glasses for love and four full ones for the outfit.

John Legend

John? Oh sorry. I thought the waiter on duty had ended up in the portrait gallery. Come on, man, you’re a star. Dress a bit creatively. Safe is for bankers. Just look at Zayn Malik or Jaden Smith. That’s what an artist looks like. Three glasses because it was still Burberry and because I’m not the worst.

Cyndi Lauper

Uncork the champagne, fill the glasses. How cool does our Cyndi look in her Moschino suit? Tip for everyone with a party: forget that dress and go for a suit. It’s comfortable, no popping breasts and flabs, and it rains compliments. Cheers.
